Minh-Hoang Nguyen is an interdisciplinary artist from Hanoi, Vietnam. His work is predominantly image-based. His interests include street photography, documentary, and more conceptual expressions, especially self-portraiture. His recent work has been focusing on the theme of representation, trauma and healing. He is currently earning his MFA degree in Experimental and Documentary Arts at Duke University. He works as a freelance photographer.

His personal mission is to become as gentle as he can, both as a human being and as a documentarian.
